Quintessential Hope

When I thought about reviews, I didn’t think this would be so hard! But here’s a start. I don’t know how I stumbled on his blog ( random blog hopping) but the post “The Tam Bram” made sure that I will visit again and again πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€Β

And I am so glad that I did. This is a blog of an Ordinary Guy with extraordinary sensitivity. He observes at a distance and then expresses everything with such simplicity and coherence. There is a spice of humor which might have paled with repetitive visits, but the sincere heart and serious thoughts that are expressed seemingly in a quite bantering tone makes you come back and yet again.

By far my favorite posts have been his “Akkare” series. They are simply so enjoyable that they deserved to be published! And how can I forget his charts!! I crack up just at the sight of them. ( Offlate, I tried to create one and I realized how difficult it is! )Β

The bottom line is.. in the world of unique people.. ordinary person is a rarity and this in itself makes him and his blog quite special!Β

My all time favorite posts of his are

Religion in Kerala

The Tam Bram

and Who am I?

And yes, the best part of his wordpress blog is Β “His Religion” and “The Blogger”Β

And he absolutely have a wonderful way with words! His blog title Aram+Arma= Kinnaram always brings a smile to my face.

Since I had a hindsight that I would not be able to describe why I like his blog so much, I decided to get back up! And this is what the more regular readers of his blog has to say ….

Winnie I like his post on religion the best, also love what he’s written about in his ‘Pages’. And I also love his hilarious posts on his attempts to cook, it’s so obvious that he is a brilliant foodie πŸ™‚

IHM

OG’s has a comical approach to most issues and presents them in a way to amuse us and yet ponder.. He is a genius fictionist.Β

Solilo

OG amazing sense of humour shines through every post of his.. He conveys so many ideas beautifully packaged in that special OG brand of humour. I find his variety of topics equally fascinating.

You said three lines so am stopping here πŸ™‚ Let me know if you want more:)

– Smitha

And OG aka Ajit, as a special favor even Dhiren has written few words πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Well OG has a unique style of his own, totally Original Guy… !!
His humor or madness has a distinct method… it even has charts, graphs and what now !!!! can you believe it !!! lol…
He also is a wonderful story teller… !! and can tell many more… I am sure… and I am waiting for them…
Β
he has a typical south Indian flavour in his humour… and I simply love him.. ( as a blogger and dont you get any ideas !!! )

Dhiren

And….Β

Ordinary Guy & his blog have no airs abt themselves. If anything, they both play down their achievements.

OG writes about everyday stuff with humour & sensitivity. I utterly relate to his posts on experiences with driving[with his friends] & cooking & ofcourse totally heart the Trivandrum lingo he employs to embellish his writing.

But most specially, laud those posts where he stresses time & again that we are all first & foremost Human beings & then Indians…anything else comes after that.”

Nancy

And lastly,Β

OG the blogger who calls himself Ordinary Guy or OG is someone who writes from the heart…his posts are passionate and talk of an India…nay a world where there will be no strife…no divisions on the basis of religion, race or any other basis…
or is it that he already lives in such a world?:)
For, only someone who believes in such a world whole heartedly can write in a manner that is so optimistic and so upbeat!
Β
OG’s words strike a chord …even before one realises it…somewhere deep inside one yearns to be a part of such a world where there would be no strife…OG’s world…
OG’s posts are not pretentious …and therein lies the charm of aram+aram=kinnaram πŸ˜€

IndyeahΒ

P.S: Indyeah wanted to add more.. I asked her to use the comment space πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€Β

This is by far not the last comment! I am sure many more are itching to add their views! Please use the comment section for that πŸ˜€

Mayb u can add a bit of background to the blogger so tht the readers get a feel of the person….just a thought, thts all.

  7. Meens, Fabulous job girl!

And what is this? Indy and Nancy wrote more than 2 lines. Not fair…. πŸ˜₯

    πŸ˜†

OG is a great start. He is a wonderful person and his posts always cheers everyone.

  8. Meens, Can I give you a suggestion?

How about you interview the blogger too? Like a day in a blogger’s life sorta series where you ask couple of questions (not personal) but like how a particular day was spent. What recent movies watched..something just fun. 2-3 questions and also display blogger’s profile picture then post review too.

This is going to be a HIT, Meens. Kudos!

  9. I absolutely love Indyeah’s lines.

“OG’s posts are not pretentious …and therein lies the charm of aram+aram=kinnaram “

  10. I would like to add that I also like OG’s simplicity and humour. And his 55ers. But most of all I like his posts which wish for us to rise above our differences and live in peace.

This reviewing of blog is a lovely idea, Winnie the Poohi πŸ™‚

  11. Well OG. I’ve only known you only a few weeks. Found you from Dhiren’s blog. (I found all nearly my new blog friends from Dhiren’s blog. ;-)) BUT it’s funny how addicted I am on reading your blog and your comments. You have a great sense of humour and don’t take anything to heart. And I agree with everyone you’re an EXSTRORDANERY GUY! πŸ˜‰ πŸ™‚

I won’t say any more otherwise you’ll be floating on cloud 9. πŸ˜›
